WILDCHILD`s
AIOE LIST
For the uninitiated, AIOE means All In One Envelope.
This is how it
works:
Instead of having to send off individual, stamped, postcards, put them all
together in one envelope to send them off. This can be even more useful
for kids' comps when more than one of your children is entering.
Always check that
all entries should go to exactly the same address
(some magazines, ie Sugar, can have numerous comps split between
several different PO Box numbers).
A useful recommendations
from the NG is to mark the envelope containing
all the postcards as:
"Covering Envelope"
"competition entries enclosed"
"various competitions"
"Individual postcards enclosed"
"Individual entries enclosed"
Or whichever the rules specify
AIOE is
to be encouraged as it means we can all enter more comps using
far fewer stamps!
AOOP - that's
All On One Postcard.
Whilst these people don't want to bother with opening envelopes of cards,
they will accept several entries written on the *same* card!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last Updated 03/05/2003:
A few changes this month, the Express has caused quite a kerfuffle but (hopefully!) what is below is how things stand currently. 4 more who accept AIOE this month but 2 who do not accept AOOP now (tho the other defo does cos I won a prize from them last month).
Thanks to everyone for your imput - keep the information coming in -
and keep trying to send your entries AIOE - that how we discover new
titles to add to the list.
If you know of any that aren't listed but should be, or are listed
but shouldn't be, please let me know direct
a.wildchild@virgin.net?subject=AIOE
as
I don't have the time now to read the ng to find out that way.
